Georgina Brennan Stynes
Georgina’s early days of training include Youth Drama in the Ellen O Malley Camps learning theatre techniques based on traditional Carnival from the Trinidad Tent Theatre, where she was first introduced to intuitive acting playing a swan in An Éigse Street Theatre Extravaganza to small stages in New York and to last year working with Carlow Youth Theatre and Carlow Little Theatre Georgina
She last appeared on stage as Mrs O Dea in Sebastian Barry’s The Steward of Christendom and a commercial with Bauer Media for Off The Ball.
A writer by trade, Georgina has written best-selling songs with Swiss musician Polar, was previously a features editor reporting in New York where she was nominated for the Pullman Award based on Magdalene Laundries' series and awarded the NY Independent Press Award. Her first short story was published in Literature Undressed (CA 2022).
Georgina is currently writing a play and finishing a novel both based on little mysteries.
