Amy Dunne


Amy is a Dublin based actor originally from Kilkenny. She is a graduate of The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute, New York and Bow Street Academy for Screen Acting.  

Screen credits include GAP (Screen Ireland) Uroboros (Screen Ireland Focus Short), the Oscar nominated Wolfwalkers for Cartoon Saloon, Pumpkin, Birthday Cake (Crypt TV) by BAFTA winning director Fergal Costello, Two Cats (Mycrofilms), Smitten (RTEStoryland), Daffney Molloy and Other Catastrophe (RTE Shortscreen) by IFTA nominated writer John Morton, and the award-winning feature Writing Home (Amazon).

Stage credits include The 24 Hour Plays (Abbey Theatre), The Roaring Banshees (SmockAlley Theatre), Brew, Cold Readers, Vehicle (Smock Alley Scene and Heard Festival), Sweet Sensations (Dublin Fringe Festival *Nominated Spirit of Wit Award for Ensemble) Scratcher, TEXT Messages (Project Arts Centre), Smitten (Cork Midsummer Festival), War Of Attrition (Galway Theatre Festival).

Amy is a series regular of Peter McGann’s live radio Pulp Injection plays. A skilled Soprano, she has trained with renowned opera singers Judith Mok and Bruce Baumer and is currently developing her debut feature film.
